Excited to announce that Jean's thesis film at NYU,  So You Like the Neighborhood, has been shortlisted for the 2018 BAFTA Student Film Awards.


April 2018 

So You Like the Neighborhood had it's World Premiere at the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival. 


March 2018
"So You Like the Neighborhood" was the 2018 2nd Place Winner of 
The Wasserman Award at NYU.

My screenplay "The Rovers" is an Austin Film Festival Finalist!! It's one of four scripts remaining in the Comedy Competition, out of almost 9,100 total entries across all categories! Fasten your margaritas, I'm headed to Austin!

Whooo hoo!!! Excited to announce that my feature script "The Rovers" has advanced to the Quarterfinal Round of the Academy Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting. It's one of only 357 to emerge from the First Round from 6,915 total entries!

That's a wrap! Completed re-shoots on my NYU Graduate thesis film, a comedy called So You Like the Neighborhood. Starring Tony nominated actress, Sarah Stiles, and New York based actor, Carmine Raspaolo.

My pre-thesis film "Mr. Lamb" has been selected to air on PBS as part of KQED's Film School Shorts program. It will premiere on KQED in San Francisco this Friday, October 6th at 11pm. For Los Angeles residents, it will air on KCET on Wed, Oct 11th at midnight, KLCS on Sunday, October 15th at 9pm, and on LINK TV.
